Monitor Flooding Where it Matters

Install a Flood Sensor - You install a Flood Monitor which collects data on water levels in nearby streams and relays this via the Internet. Our low-cost wireless sensors harness the power of the Internet of Things to give you updates about waterways, culverts, rivers, ditches and even groundwater. They are powered by battery and can connect wirelessly to a gateway which channels the data back to our system using the Internet.

Live Updates When it Matters

Flood Network visualises your waterways and their levels on a map, showing where levels are high and flooding is likely.  A monitoring system is provided to view your data and you can choose to publish it as open data.  We share this with flood modellers and forecasters to improve resilience and response.
